Medical Plan Options

We’re excited to offer medical plans that provide you and your family with the care you need at a price that fits your budget.

Preferred Provider Organization (PPO)

Flexibility is key with PPO plans. You can choose between in-network or out-of-network providers for each visit, but you’ll save more by sticking to the in-network doctors.

Health Savings Account (HSA) Plan

HDHPs offer coverage for both in-network and out-of-network providers. You’ll need to meet a higher deductible before your plan kicks in, but you may qualify for a Health Savings Account, your trusty tool for paying certain medical expenses tax-free.

Note: If you are a 3508 Sales Representative, you are eligible to enroll in either HSA medical plan. However, due to IRS regulations, you do not qualify to open the pre-tax Health Savings Account associated with this plan. 

Health Maintenance Organization (HMO)

HMO plans are your all-in-one health team. They cover in-network providers only, with a primary care physician coordinating your care and referrals. You’ll pay copays at the time of service, ensuring you get the care you need at budget-friendly costs. These plans are exclusively available in California.

Which Plan Is Right for Me? 

When picking a medical plan for you and your family, it’s not just about the premiums taken from your paycheck. You also need to think about what you’ll pay out of pocket for services. Each plan covers preventive screenings in full, but they differ in deductibles, copays, and coinsurance. This means you might end up paying more with one plan than another. Look for a plan that covers most of your needs with out-of-pocket costs that meet your budget.

Consider how often you visit the doctor, what prescriptions you need, and your budget. Then ask yourself these questions:

  1. Premium: How much will I pay out of my paycheck? Remember: With the Medical Premium Discount, PPO & HSA Plan participants can earn a 15% (or more!*) discount on medical premiums by registering with Quantum Health, engaging with Rx Savings Solutions, and completing a virtual primary care visit with First Stop Health.
  2. Network: How often do I go to the doctor and is my doctor available on this plan?
  3. Deductible, Copays, and Coinsurance: How much do I have to pay before insurance kicks in?
  4. Cost Savings: Does the plan come with anything to help me pay less? (Hint: Think free HSA money or Accident & Hospital insurance.)

Save on Premiums

Looking to save on your medical coverage? Here’s the scoop: With the Medical Premium Discount, PPO & HSA Plan participants can earn a 15% (or more!*) discount on premiums when you register with Quantum Health, engage with Rx Savings Solutions (click to learn how!), and complete a virtual primary care visit with First Stop Health. If you complete the Medical Premium Discount requirements by September 15, 2025, you’ll save 15% (or more!*) on your medical premium, beginning October 1, 2025.

Note: The premium discount is awarded on a quarterly basis. You must have met requirements by the 15th of the month, prior to the new quarter, to be eligible.

Additionally, your Medical Premium Discount won’t appear in ADP. After meeting the requirements, you’ll see a “MED INCENTIVE” credit under Deductions, on your first paycheck after the effective date.
