Who’s Eligible for Benefits?

You

As a full-time employee putting in 30 hours or more per week, you’re in for some serious benefits! Benefits kick in starting the first day of the month following your 30-day new hire eligibility period, or the first of the month following your rehire date if you’re returning within 6 months of your previous end date. Employees who are rehired after more than 6 months follow the same eligibility criteria as new hires.

Just make sure to submit your enrollment materials within 21 days of your hire date. Miss this window, and you’ll only be eligible for Renovo-paid benefits, like Basic Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D).

Your Dependents

  • Your legal spouse or your same/opposite-sex domestic partner
  • Children up to age 26, plus disabled dependent children of any age who meet plan criteria

Enrolling in benefits is a breeze with MyLife Advisors! Here’s how to get started:

By Phone

Call ADP MyLife Advisors at 855-547-8508. They are available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. ET and 5:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. PT.

Online

You can also enroll online from any computer with internet access, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. If it’s your first time logging in, click on “Create account.” If you’re unsure about the registration code, please contact ADP. Follow the prompts to set up your account and select a secure password.

Can I Make Changes to My Benefits?

Once you’ve made your benefits choices as a new employee, they’re as stuck as gum on a hot sidewalk for the rest of the plan year. Unless, of course, you experience a life event that the IRS thinks is a big deal.

Need Examples?

How about getting married, separated, or another status change that sends your benefits spinning? Even the stork’s visit or a sudden eligibility for Medicaid or Medicare can shake things up. You can watch a video about life events here.

Remember, you only have 30 days from the life event to update your coverage. So, make sure you don’t miss your window.
